What containers can waste diesel be collected from?
In brief
City Fuel Services collects waste diesel from almost any container: 25-litre cans and 205-litre drums, 1,000-litre IBCs, bowsers, above-ground and underground tanks, and vehicle and machinery tanks. Call 07950 582635 or send an enquiry.
Making waste diesel easy to collect
Containers should be closed, upright and labelled, with a clear route for a hose or a forklift. Tell us about steps, gates, weight limits or tight access when you enquire.
Damaged containers of waste diesel
Leaking or damaged containers are not left behind: tell us about them, keep them in a bund or drip tray, and we plan the collection around them.
Diesel in practice
Since April 2022 most former red diesel users in Great Britain must use full-duty diesel, so far more off-road machines now hold road diesel than before.
How City Fuel Services handles waste diesel
We collect waste diesel from cans and drums up to bulk tanks, across England, Wales and mainland Scotland, from our licensed site in Droylsden, Manchester. Terms, a rebate or a charge, are agreed before collection.
