Information we collect

When you send an enquiry: your name, business name, phone number, email address, the collection postcode and the details you give us about the fuel. If you arrive from an advert and have agreed to advertising cookies, the advert's click reference is added to your enquiry. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure.

Purposes and lawful bases

To answer your enquiry, assess your fuel, arrange and record collections, and keep the records the law requires for waste movements. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, and our legal obligations.

Sharing

Our staff, and the companies that host this website and our email. Regulators or the police where the law requires it. We do not sell your data.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a collection are kept only as long as we need to deal with them. Records connected to waste movements are kept as long as the law requires, which for hazardous waste paperwork is at least three years.

Cookies and similar technology

This website does not set cookies. It only keeps an advert click reference for your visit if you have agreed to advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing sales@cityfuelservices.co.uk. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
