# Who buys waste diesel in Prestonpans?

In brief

Yes, City Fuel Services buys waste diesel in Prestonpans, East Lothian. We collect it from cans, drums, IBCs and tanks around the EH32 district, about 175 miles from our licensed site in Droylsden, and confirm a rebate or a charge first. Loads of waste diesel can earn a rebate or carry a collection charge, depending on their condition and size, and we confirm which before we collect. City Fuel Services can buy it from you: call [07950 582635](tel:+447950582635).

## Getting waste diesel in Prestonpans collected

Tell us your name or business and the postcode, roughly how much waste diesel you have and in what containers, whether anything else has got into it, how a vehicle reaches it, and whether you need one collection or regular ones.

## What waste diesel is worth around Prestonpans

Waste diesel is one of the more valuable waste fuels because most of a typical load is recoverable. Volume, water content, contamination and how easily it can be pumped decide the terms. We never publish prices, because every load and every day is different: for an actual figure, call 07950 582635 or send an enquiry.

## Rules for waste diesel in Scotland

In Scotland, SEPA regulates special waste. Every load moves on a special waste consignment note with a SEPA-issued code, wherever in the UK it is going, copies are kept for three years, and permitted receiving sites join Digital Waste Tracking from January 2027.
