The note records what the waste is and its code, how much there is, its hazards, and who produced, carried and received it, with signatures at each stage.

## Diesel drained from a misfuelled vehicle: the situation

When a vehicle is filled with the wrong fuel, its tank is drained and the drained fuel becomes waste. Keep the drained fuel in closed, labelled, fuel-grade containers away from ignition sources, and never tip it back into a vehicle or tank.

We collect waste diesel from cans and drums up to bulk tanks, across England, Wales and mainland Scotland, from our licensed site in Droylsden, Manchester. Terms, a rebate or a charge, are agreed before collection.

## Terms used in this answer
